Chesterwye Center recently announced a new brand concept representing the organization.
Beginning in early 2025 the team at Chesterwye Center began development of a new color palette and brand mark with designer Acorn Creative Design, an international artist and designer for for-profit and non-profit organizations.
We are excited to share with you a new look and feel for the organization. This new brand provides us with an image that reflects our current forward-facing organization.
The NEW Chesterwye Center logo is the cornerstone of our visual identity and represents our commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities in our community. The distinctive water and marsh-inspired design reflects our deep connection to Queen Anne’s County’s Eastern Shore landscape, honoring our heritage between of the Chester and Wye Rivers while projecting a contemporary, professional image.
Color plays a crucial role in our new brand identity, helping us communicate with warmth, consistency, and professionalism. Our carefully curated palette reflects our brand personality—trusted community partners who bring clarity and hope to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Our palette of dark blue, green, teal, and sea blue draws inspiration from the water and marsh landscapes that define Queen Anne’s County. The palette includes two strategic variations: teal serves as the primary color for Chesterwye Center, while sea blue anchors the Chesterwye Foundation identity. This dual approach creates visual cohesion while allowing each organization to maintain its distinct purpose and recognition.
In the coming weeks and months the Chesterwye Center will be working to implement our new brand and logo across our organization.
